Pensions have long been used by politicians as a way of winning votes in the run-up to an election.
This has to stop.
It’s making it really difficult for people to plan effectively for their retirement if they don’t know when their State Pension will be paid, how much they are allowed to put into their pension every year, how much they are allowed to have in their pension, and how their pension income will be taxed when they start to draw it.
